“What I enjoy most about First Tee is the relationships I have built and the opportunity I have to see how this program can be so impactful on a young person’s life. I am grateful to have such talented staff. I look forward to the footprint we will make in the Greater Wilmington area.”
Schoenbach attended Clemson University where she earned a BS Degree in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management in 2013. She started her First Tee journey in Houston as an Intern and then Program Coordinator before returning home to NJ for a few years. Pre-pandemic, Schoenbach began working as the Program Director with a chapter in NJ before seeking out the same position in a better location and joining the First Tee – Greater Wilmington team in 2022. She started playing golf at age 7 but mostly played softball growing up and came back to the game of golf in college for fun! Dana and her four-legged best friend, Alara, are loving their new life at the beach and can’t wait to keep exploring the area!
“What I’ve enjoyed most about my years with First Tee is that no matter where you go, you will find like-minded people who want to help the next generation grow into the best versions of themselves, participants having fun through a life-long game and building skills that will allow them to handle all life throws their way.”

He started playing golf at the age of 12 with his dad and brother on Sunday afternoons at the local links, having also played multiple other sports in his youth. Oliver moved to Wilmington in September 2021 and enjoys the many different aspects of the area, from its people to its beaches and everything in between. Some of his favorite activities include being outdoors, relaxing, and throwing cornhole!
“What I enjoy most about First Tee is that I can give back to the golf community in a way that I never got to experience. I was self-taught and did not have First Tee when I was starting to help me develop those skills and character tools that benefit the kids so much. Also, if you would’ve told teenage Kyle that he could work at a golf course as a career without being a professional, he would’ve laughed in your face. I am thankful for that!”
