What is Girls Golf?

LPGA*USGA Girls Golf (Girls Golf) is the only national junior golf program that specializes in providing girl-friendly environments for juniors to learn the game of golf. We’re the experts in making the game of golf fun, and we teach more than just stance and swing; we teach girls valuable life skills like confidence and perseverance.

Each of the 415 Girls Golf sites helps prepare girls ages 5 – 17 for a lifetime of enjoyment of the game while also inspiring them to feel confident, build positive self-esteem, and live active and healthy lives through The Five E’s of Girls Golf.

How often does Girls Golf meet?

We typically meet once a month and during the summer, twice a month. All Girls Golf sessions are held at Wilmington Municipal Golf Course. You must RSVP to attend.

Who runs this program?

Dana Schoenbach, Brittany Zachrich and Caroline Shriver of the First Tee of Greater Wilmington organize all Girls Golf events and assist with First Tee Greater Wilmington female volunteers. You can contact Caroline with questions via email, [email protected]

Download the Girls Golf App from the app store. Create an account. Search for the First Tee Greater Wilmington site & register your golfer for the annual FREE 2026 LPGA*USGA Girls Golf Membership.

Sign-up for each individual Girls Golf event via the Parent Registration Portal for $10 per event.
